Rory Sandstone, R.Ac.
Rory Sandstone R.Ac. has been using acupuncture to treat pain and injury for over 15 years.
He has spent his career researching and developing protocols and methods for treating acute injuries, chronic and neurological pain conditions, as well as preparatory sport-specific protocols for athletes and active people.
Rory applies a deep knowledge of human anatomy to the comprehensive systems theory of classical acupuncture blending refined clinical diagnosis with modern research and science. His main methods of treatment include:

He has been an educator for nearly 10 years and has taught orthopaedic acupuncture, anatomy and Chinese medicine theory at the collegiate and professional development level. Additionally, from 2017-2021, Rory served as Program Dean for one of the largest Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Programs in Canada.
He opened Flying Crane Acupuncture in 2023 to create a clinic with a special focus on using the latest research and development in the field of acupuncture to focus on treating pain and injuries.

Pain and injury does not discriminate. As such, Rory’s clients range from professional athletes working through an injury, to everyday people who simply seek to live their lives without pain.
Outside of clinical practice, Rory is a lifelong martial artist and practices and teaches Gao Style Baguazhang under the discipleship of Yang Yusen. He is an avid reader and a Dad to two vibrant and spirited daughters.
